Between the 16th and 19th July 2020, a team of cyclists will be taking on the 300 km journey from London to Paris for access to justice. They will encounter historic towns, sleepy villages and rolling countryside before finishing up at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

Meet the team that will be pedalling for pro bono:

Bob Colover

Bob is a criminal barrister at 4 Breams Buildings. He is a keen cyclist and this won’t be his first time venturing across to France. He cares deeply about Advocate’s aim of access to justice for all, and hopes to raise money and awareness by taking on this epic challenge.

 Jake Ellis and Chris Rowe

Jake and Chris are both members of Broadway House Chambers. They’re taking on the Legal Wheel Appeal together and are fundraising jointly. Both are already huge supporters of Advocate, having taken on cases as volunteer barristers, so they understand the importance of the work we do here. Not content with that, they want to offer more support, which is why they’re taking part in the challenge.

You?

There’s still time to join the team if you think you’re also up to the challenge. We’d love to have as many people as possible doing their bit for Advocate and access to justice, and this is a great way to get involved.
