Organisational Giving

Core funding enables Advocate to help hundreds of people achieve fair and equal access to justice. You or your organisation can support Advocate in a number of ways. You could become a Pro Bono Patron, a Friend in Law or set up Payroll Giving.

Pro Bono Patrons

The Pro Bono Patrons scheme is designed to give individuals and organisations that underpin the core work of Advocate a way to share that commitment externally and publicly with clients and staff.

Without such core regular funding, it would be impossible for Advocate to carry out pro bono work and enable cases in all tribunals and courts and in all areas of law across England and Wales.

Pro Bono Patrons support Advocate at four levels:

  • Platinum Circle, which includes donations of £12,000 or above.
  • Gold Circle, which includes donations of £8,800 or above.
  • Silver Circle, which includes donations of £3,850 or above.
  • Bronze Circle, which includes donations of £1,100 or above.

As a Pro Bono Patron, you can include a special logo on your website and on publicity materials and will be recognised prominently on the Advocate website. If you are interested in becoming a Pro Bono Patron, please email Sana.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy way for your employees to give regularly to Advocate. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1 donation will only cost 80p (or 60p if you are a higher rate tax payer). Find out how to offer payroll giving to your employees here.
