Citizens Advice Wirral is a local charity providing advice, information, advocacy and representation across Wirral. We have provided free, impartial and confidential advice, to Wirral residents since 1939, and were formerly known as Wirral Citizens Advice Bureau.
We are members of the national Citizens Advice charity, but are independent from them. Our services include general advice, specialist debt advice and specialist primary care mental health advice and advocacy.
Time commitment: Approximately 10 hours a month.
Attendance: Hybrid.
As a trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Citizens Advice Wirral. Our Board of Trustees is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring sound governance, and overseeing financial and operational performance. Trustees work alongside our management team, who lead the day-to-day delivery of services, to ensure we continue to provide high-quality, accessible advice to the people who need it most.
