Gymnasts for Change is a survivor-led global network of former gymnasts, coaches and parents who have come together to campaign for change. We want to end abusive coaching practices in gymnastics, support those who have experienced abuse and create sweeping reform for better athlete welfare within the sport at the international level. The core of our work as a Charity is to drive change through strategic survivor led advocacy and litigation.
Established as a registered charity in early 2024, G4CI is entering an exciting new chapter. We are now looking to expand our Board of Trustees by appointing at least two new members who can bring specialist expertise in the charity’s core activities to help shape the organisation’s next phase, whilst maintaining the central role of lived experience.
This is a pivotal time to join us. Our advocacy has already contributed to meaningful policy reform within British Gymnastics, and we are now focused on sustaining pressure for implementation, pushing for legal reform, and supporting international efforts for cultural change in the sport worldwide.
We hope that trustees with specific expertise will directly contribute to shaping the relevant activities of the organisation, and will be available for ad hoc working groups and strategic reviews of these workstreams.
We are seeking to appoint at least two trustees, and we welcome applications from people with either of the following areas of expertise:
Trustee with experience in advocacy or strategic litigation
