LawCare is the mental health charity for the legal sector.
We are recruiting four new trustees to strengthen our board and develop our work in supporting and promoting mental health in the legal community and improving the culture in law. It is an exciting time to join the LawCare board, as we have just launched our Life in the Law 2025 report, deepening the understanding the culture and practice of law and how this impacts mental health. The board will be developing our new strategy to take the recommendations of the report forward.
We are looking for Trustees from across the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man; from all branches of the legal sector and a range of roles, both legal and support; with the time and energy to devote to LawCare. A strong commitment to the value of mental health and a healthy workplace culture is essential. You will play a vital role in providing leadership, scrutiny and support to ensure delivery of our mission. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with skills and experience in at least one of the following areas:
However, we are keen to hear from anyone who has the skills and expertise to take on this role and would like to work with us to drive change in legal education, practice and regulation to create a mentally healthy legal community.

Attendance: Meetings may be held over zoom or in person in London. They may occasionally take place in other locations. Trustees can claim out of pocket expenses incurred in travelling to meetings or on other LawCare business. Trustees are invited to LawCare events.
