Citizens Advice Caerphilly Blaenau Gwent provides free, independent and confidential advice to people facing a wide range of issues, including debt, housing, employment and benefits. Joining the Trustee Board is an opportunity to shape advice services that are ready for the future and responsive to community needs. Trustees help set strategic priorities, influence impact, develop new skills, expand professional networks and support a vital service that strengthens local communities.
There are vacancies on the Trustee Board for individuals who want to support the charity and contribute to its long term direction. Trustees play a central role in guiding strategy, ensuring governance is strong and supporting the organisation in delivering high quality advice services. This role is suited to anyone wishing to use their professional experience while making a meaningful difference in their community.
Not essential but helpful: IT, governance, HR, community engagement, legal knowledge and understanding of the charity sector.
Time Commitment: Attend quarterly board meetings of approximately two hours each and participate in sub committees which meet between quarterly meetings.
Attendance Type: In person and remote meetings depending on requirements.
