Challenges

Have fun while you fundraise!

Taking part in a challenge for Advocate can be a great way to take on a personal challenge while also raising money to help vulnerable people who need legal assistance.

Whether it's a skydive, a bike ride or a run, why not do it in support of Advocate? Not only will the funds you raise make a huge difference to our applicants, you will also be raising awareness of our vision of making access to justice for all a reality.

Here are some current challenges you can get involved with:

London Marathon

The London Marathon is now taking place on 3rd October 2021, both virtually and in-person. If you've always wanted to run a marathon, now might be the time! We only have a couple of places available, but if you're interested in getting involved, let us know.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is taking place on 1st August 2021. It's a closed-road race, taking runners through central London in full view of some of the most famous landmarks in the city. Places have now all been filled and our team are getting ready to run!

Royal Parks Half Marathon

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is taking place virtually on 11th April 2021 and we have three amazing runners taking part. We've also got runners taking on the in-person event on 10th October 2021. We've got one place left in the October event and it could be yours!

If you want to take part or would like to know more about any of our challenges, please email Sarah.

Fancy taking on your very own challenge for Advocate?

In 2019 Derek Sweeting QC took part in an 85 mile trek around the Isle of Man in just 24 hours to raise funds for access to justice, and James Harrison completed the Vichy Ironman for Advocate and Middle Temple charities. What would be your personal challenge?

Let us know what you want to do, and get in touch so we can help you raise funds and make some noise!
