York Childcare is a well-established registered charity which provides high quality and affordable childcare for children from 6 weeks of age, operating three children's day nurseries in York and actively supporting a number of "not for profit" Out of School Clubs. The services we provide are now ever more important in the current cost of living crisis; we particularly support lone parents and those on low income, and continue to respond positively to requests for financial support via our "Assisted Places" scheme.
York Childcare is a registered charity, operating as a company limited by guarantee; the Board of Directors are Trustees of the charity and responsible for setting the strategy and policies of the organisation; Trustees support our Director of Operations and complement the excellent work of our senior management team and highly-valued staff teams who, together, have made York Childcare the exemplar organisation it is.
