To that end, S2B has five main objectives: (i) equal access to opportunity; (ii) education; (iii)advocacy; (iv) promoting collaborative work; and, (v) creating a supportive community.

State2Bar is searching for dynamic and dedicated state-school educated Barristers who possess a passion for social mobility at the Bar. We are in the process of formulating a Research Project which seeks to collate existing and new data, analyse and interpret findings to assess the current state of social mobility and opportunities at the Bar. It is our aim to be able to make a positive impact by improving existing social mobility policies within the profession. As a Volunteer on our Research Review Panel, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our charity's mission of increasing social mobility at the Bar.
