The Centre for Human Development (CHD) is accredited by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) and CPD certified organisation.

We prove legal training, business monitoring, immigration advice, employability support, coaching and other kinds of support to the people, particularly BAME women, based in the London Borough of Hounslow.

Our aim is to provide personalised services so that women whose education, or employment have been disrupted by conflict/migration, long-term unemployment, life-changing events etc can increase their skills, knowledge, and information.

This enables them to move on to further education, volunteering, and employment and help them to integrate with the community in a more productive and sustainable way.

Role Details

Time commitment: Between 1-15 hours.

Attendance: Mainly in our offices in Feltham, TW13 4DA.

Role Description

We are looking for an immigration law expert to teach immigration law

The role is suitable for those having experience in immigration law and domestic abuse. The volunteer must have legal qualification. the volunteer will deliver face-to-face workshops on immigration law and domestic abuse.

You will be passionate in teaching immigration law and supporting women facing domestic abuse due to unstable immigration status.

Your expertise will help us to deliver our workshops in a professional way and your supervision will help our volunteers to gain a professional qualification as immigration advisers.
