Advocate is seeking the expertise of immigration barristers to assist with an urgent project to provide assistance to a number of vulnerable individuals in relation to the ongoing situation in Afghanistan.

Advocate was approached by DLA Piper, the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales, Gráinne Mellon from Garden Court and Allan Briddock of One Pump Court to assist with Project Afghanistan. In collaboration with law firms, we are looking to find barristers who are willing to support those most in need by providing advice and/or assistance with relevant immigration applications. Casework support can also be provided by Advocate and a number of law firms may also be able to provide support.

If you are interested in assisting any of the individuals who desperately need help, please do contact Advocate at  and we can provide the relevant training details and talk through next steps. Assistance is also available to more junior barristers wishing to assist with this project.
